VARIETAL

SL 28, SL 34, RUIRU 11

SL 28 and SL 34 are prized Kenyan coffee varietals, known for their bright acidity, complex fruity notes, and wine-like body, ideal for filter brewing. Ruiru 11, a hybrid, offers disease resistance with a balanced flavour of red fruits and nuts, suitable for espresso or versatile brewing methods.

PROCESS

Washed

During the wash method, the outer skin and pulp of the coffee cherry is removed through depulping, leaving behind the mucilage-covered beans. The beans are then fermented to remove the mucilage before being washed and dried.
