Rafael Aya has been immersed in coffee for over 20 years, though his connection to the crop dates back to his childhood. Originally from Tolima, Rafael moved to Huila at 17, where he met his wife Elvira Cuellar. Together, they established a 5-hectare farm in La Florida, near Timaná, with 3.5 hectares currently in production. As a pioneering partner producer, Rafael constantly innovates and refines his methods. This lot underwent a 120-hour aerobic fermentation process before washing, showcasing his commitment to quality and experimentation.

Caturra and Pink Bourbon

Pink Bourbon is a unique hybrid with a strong Bourbon influence, but it also incorporates elements from the Colombia variety, which itself is a mix of Catimor, Caturra, and other varietals.

Anaerobic Washed

Anaerobic Washed processing combines anaerobic fermentation with thorough washing to remove all mucilage. This results in a clean, complex coffee with bright acidity and unique fermentation flavours.
