Today, under Boyce Marquis Allen Harris, the estates continue to cultivate some of Kenya's finest Arabica varieties, including French Mission, SL28, and SL34. Each cup reflects the family's rich history and dedication to quality.

VARIETAL

French Mission, Ruiru 11, Batian, SL14 & SL28

French Mission, an old Bourbon varietal, offers a balanced cup with bright acidity, medium body, and fruity sweetness. Ruiru 11 and Batian, disease-resistant Kenyan hybrids, feature rich acidity, full body, and complex floral and fruity notes. SL14 & SL28, renowned Kenyan varieties, are prized for vibrant acidity, sweetness, and intense fruitiness, with SL14 having a more balanced body. All are excellent for drip or espresso brewing.

PROCESS

Natural (Dry)

During the natural or dry method, the entire coffee cherry is dried with the beans inside, allowing the fruit to naturally ferment and impart flavour to the beans. Once dried, the outer layers of the cherry are removed, revealing the green coffee beans.
